These terms apply to your use of CFLPlayoffs.com (“the site”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. What the site is
CFLPlayoffs.com is a free, independent fan website with information about the CFL playoffs and the Grey Cup. It is not affiliated with the Canadian Football League or any team. Please also read our disclaimer and privacy policy, which form part of these terms.
2. Using the site
You may browse, read and share links to the site for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
- copy, scrape or republish our pages, data or designs in bulk, or use automated tools that put unreasonable load on the site;
- tamper with polls, the predictor or other features, for example by voting repeatedly through scripts or proxies;
- try to break, probe or bypass the site’s security, or upload anything harmful;
- click our ads to generate revenue, or ask others to;
- use the site in any way that breaks the law.
3. Our content
The text, tables, graphics, bracket designs and printable files on the site are created by us and protected by copyright. Team names, logos and league marks belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the teams.
You are welcome to:
- print the free playoff bracket PDF for yourself, your family, your office pool or your classroom;
- quote short passages with a credit and a link to the page you quoted;
- share screenshots of the bracket or standings on social media with a credit to CFLPlayoffs.com.
For anything else, such as republishing full pages, selling our printables or using our data in another product, ask us first through the contact page.
4. Comments, votes and messages
If you post a comment, vote in a poll or send us a message, you confirm it is your own and lawful, and you let us display, edit for length or remove it. We may delete comments that are abusive, off-topic, spam or promotional, and we may block users who break these terms.
5. Accuracy and availability
Scores, standings, schedules and projections come from automated data and can be delayed or wrong. The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, pause or remove any part of it at any time, and we do not promise it will always be available or error-free.
6. Third-party links and ads
The site links to other websites and shows ads from third parties. Your dealings with them, including any purchase, are between you and them, under their own terms.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site, its content or linked sites. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
